40th Annual Conference a Treasured Memory
The ruby anniversary conference "Treasure Reading" closed quietly on Friday, March 30th after three packed days of speaking sessions by a variety of national and local experts and an array of colorful children's book authors. Occasions for celebration punctuated this year's conference as well. Marilyn Barber, conference chair, is both congratulated and thanked for her efforts in putting together this major event, an important tradition for SoMIRAC.
